  1. At moonhigh, Wolffang walked into camp, sitting besides Icecrystal. She woke, and murmured, "What do you want Wolffang? Just go to sleep..."
"Why? I'm too hungry to sleep." She said quickly, pacing.
"Then get something to eat... and go to bed."
Relunctantly, Wolffang lied down too. She twitched her tail, and muttered, "huuungryyy."
Icecrystal rolled over, paws over her ears.
"I- I think I'm in the mood for vole. Hmm..." She sat up. "Icecrystal, do you think I should get some vole?"
    "Wolffang, I'm trying to sleep."
"Hmmm.. I think I should. Do you want something to eat?"
    "No! Go to bed!"
Wolffang flinched, staring at her with a hurt expression.
"Well, fine! If that's how it'll be, I WON'T get you any vole. Hmph." She flopped onto the ground.
Icecrystal sighed with relief. Wolffang twitched her tail not quite sleepy. Grabbing a leaf, she started ripping it up with her claws while humming. "Soft kitty warm kitty little ball of fur..." She murmured. Icecrystal twitched once, twice, then leapt up, staring at Wolffang. Eyes bloddshot, she marched over to the fresh kill pile, stormed back and dropped it at Wolffang's paws. "Happy now?!" she demanded.
Wolffang stared at it a second, then looked up at her.
    "I can't eat this."
    "What? Why?!"
"I don't like vole." she said, lying down. "Icy, I'm trying to sleep. Settle down will you?"

  3. Power Struggle
    Chapter One
“This girl will be a major asset to our team if we can win her over,” The comment came from the older man with a bald head, sharp kind features and sat in a wheelchair being pushed by a young woman with long silvery white hair with tanned skin and an easy smile on her face. Next to the two walked a boy of 18 with jet black hair and eyes, his hair was long enough to cover most of his forehead and ears, but short enough that his handsome features were visible, his cheekbones were prominent and his nose was perfectly straight, his lips were pressed together into a straight line. “Tristan this girl is exactly like you except her powers have been strengthened. She is more powerful than you but she is unable to control her power, you need to convince her that we can help.”
    “But Professor!” The boy protested.
“No buts, you are most capable and I will be here to help you but this is something I believe only you can do.” The Professor replied, cutting the boy off from further objection.
“Yes Professor X.” As the trio came to the stairs leading to the porch, the Professors wheelchair was lifted off the ground as the other two walked up the stairs slowly and then was gently set down on the porch.
“Thank you Tristan,” The Professor praised as the woman reached forward and knocked on the door to the home.
“Will Storm be with me or will she stay with you Professor.” Tristan asked as footsteps neared the door.
“Aurora will stay with me, you will be on your own, and I know you’ll try your best.” The Professor answered as the door opened to reveal a girl of about 16. The girl had long thick silver hair that spilled around her shoulders like liquid silver. Her face had soft gentle features and her smile was brilliantly white against her perfectly tanned skin, but her eyes were her most stunning feature one eye was a liquid silver color while the other was that of a metallic gold.

  4. “Hello, what can I do for you?!” The girl spoke in a high sing song voice that flowed through the air. “Would you like to come in?”
“We would love to come in,” The Professor replied returning the smile along with Aurora, but Tristan just watched the girl without an expression. As the three entered into the house the girl shut the door and then flashed in front of them, with inhuman speed, leading them into a side room filled with plush leather couches.
“Would you like something to drink or maybe something to eat?” The girl asked almost begging her guests to need something. Her eyes pleaded to please, her face was still brightened with a smile bright enough to light a room.
“Something to drink would be lovely, I’m quite parched.” Professor X replied, nodding gratefully. “Tea would be dandy.”
“You wouldn’t happen to have any juice?” Aurora questioned and at her nod added, “That would be lovely thank you.”
Turning to the Tristan she waited for his request and after a minute said, “Milk would be fine, please.” Turning on her heels she flashed out of the room and within seconds was back carrying a tray with a glass of milk, tea, apple juice, and a green concoction that the others didn’t recognize. Handing out each of the glasses she motioned for them to sit down and without warning the Professor was lifted out of his chair and into a one person chair where he was gently laid down. Aurora and Tristan jumped yelping slightly as they moved towards him but he waved them off with a sheepish grin on his face.
“Thank you Ashleigh.” The Professor said looking at the girl who just widened her smile as she settled her legs under her as she sat across from her guests. “I’m guessing you know why we’re here, don’t you?”
“I know you’re all from the Xavier Institute and you’re here to get me to join your team of X-Men if I’m correct.” Ashleigh started her face suddenly taking on a serious look that clouded her beautiful features as she concentrated. “I know that your mutants like me and that you can read my mind and you can control the weather and you…” She paused slightly after pointing to Professor X and then Aurora and was now looking at Tristan. “You’re like me but still different.” After saying this, her features brighten again and her smile again light up her face.
“Very good, but one quick question before we continue.” The Professor said an expression of unease on his face. “Where are you parents?”
“They left me.” Ashleigh replied her voice small, her face masked in sorrow. “They left me to die; they left me by myself, alone.” Ashleigh voice grew into a whimper as she repeated her statement her arms wrapping around her legs as she if she could close herself off from the world by curling into a ball and began to rock back and forth. Suddenly her hand reached out and snatched the green drink that was still on the tray and gulped a quarter of it down with a grimace. Her expression of fear disappeared and a calm expression replaced it as she released her legs setting them firmly on the ground again.

  5. “You’re here alone?!” Aurora questioned in shock as she went over and sat next to the girl rubbing her back gently. Ashleigh nodded her head slightly then turned to the Professor and said.
“I would be honored to come to your school.”

  8. Wolffang entered camp, and said to Moonstar, "There's a Gathering tommorrow. Who will go?"
She lashed her tail as her brother Darkwhisker crashed into camp.
"Seriously, Dark, could you stand to be a little quieter?" She asked, annoyed.
"Flame-Flameclan..." He panted, out of breath. "There's a forest fire in FlameClan and it's getting closer to MoonClan!"
Foxkit bounced out of the nursery and squeaked, "If their FlameClan then don't you think they can control it?"
"What's should we do? Evacuate camp?" Wolffang asked, turning to Moonstar.
